Bye, Bye Villa Dönsby

A heartfelt thank you – and the beginning of a new era

After 17 wonderful years, the time has come for me to say thank you and close an important chapter.

Villa Dönsby is now coming to an end, and the house is entering a new era. I will be moving into the house myself, and it will once again become a private home.

When I look back on these 17 years, what I feel above all is an enormous sense of gratitude. It has been a great joy to open the doors of my grandparents’ old house to so many people from near and far – to give you a place to rest, discover Raseborg and feel at home, even if only for a night or a few days.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has stayed with me over the years. Thank you for all the encounters, conversations, laughter and kind words. Thank you for choosing Dönsby and for making yourselves at home here. Many of you returned again and again, and that has meant more to me than you may realise.

There has been something truly special about caring for a house that has been part of my family’s history, while at the same time filling it with new encounters and memories. Now it is time for the house to continue its story in a different way.

I will carry with me 17 years of wonderful memories and a deep gratitude for all the people who, in one way or another, have become part of Dönsby’s story.

Thank you for coming. Thank you for making yourselves at home. And thank you for 17 wonderful years.
